Laura

Office Administrator

I have been working at Halesowen Day Nursery as one of the office administrators since 2019. I absolutely love the job and all the staff I work with. It feels like a family and we all support each other. Sarah the owner/manager is extremely supportive to all staff and truly cares about staff morale and well being. I love getting to know the children and watching them grow throughout their time at nursery, and building bonds with parents and supporting them with all enquires.

Robyn

Toddler Room Leader

I have been here at Halesowen day nursery since January 2022, starting as a student in baby room and progressing to room leader in toddler room. One of my favourite parts of the job has got to be making bonds with both the children and parents, helping them prepare for the next adventure, be that walking or transitioning rooms where these bonds still remain intact. Management here have helped me continuously develop by providing a large range of training opportunities, sharing their personal experiences to help me in my new experiences and pushing me to become the best I can.

Charlotte

Toddler Room Staff

I started at Halesowen day nursery in July 2021 and feel like I fitted in well. When I wanted to return to work in the summer of 2022, Sarah was very welcoming and supportive with my decision and helped me to integrate back into work life. It has also been so lovely to see the bond that my own daughter has made with her key carer Summer and the other teachers in the room since she started in January. Whenever there is anything we need to talk about, discuss or need support with, Sarah operates an open door policy where nothing is off limits that we can talk about and discuss which really helps us to be able to be our very best while we are shaping and developing the foundations for the children's future.
BE

Ben

Early Years Practitioner

I have worked at Halesowen day nursery for over 3 years. I love my job here and feel like I have been here for many more years! The nursery has given me lots of training and CPD, whether this is first aid or personal interests such as SEN and communication and language. I also teach the children basic Makaton and share my knowledge with other staff and parents. I feel the whole staff team works together well and is like one big family. The admin staff communicate with everyone about the day to day life of the nursery and communication is clear and accurate to meet all of the children's and nursery needs.
JA

Jade

Baby Room Leader

Working at Halesowen Day Nursery is an absolute pleasure and walking through the door each morning has a real sense of coming home. Seeing the warm welcoming smiles from the children and seeing them grow and develop is a blessing and would not have it any other way! Working as part of a large staff team makes it feel like we're one big family and each individual member of staff is valued and appreciated for their strengths and supported in areas of weakness. I started my journey at Nursery in 2015 as a volunteer and have been supported through every step of my journey and are now happy as Baby Room leader where I'm given plenty of opportunities to incorporate my own ideas into my daily practice.
